Near the end of 2017, Kim and Brian decided they wanted to get out of their house in Pewaukee and head a little further north. Having built their current home, they were used to the luxury of high quality materials and a modern floor plan. However, they wanted a smaller property with more land while still being able to live in a great location. It would take too long and become too expensive to find a lot and build.
Could one company really help them purchase a home, complete all of the remodeling, and build equity in the property?!? After hearing what we had to offer… they were intrigued.
We were confident that with their budget and desired area, we could find an existing property that needed extensive updating that would fit all their needs. After a couple months of searching, we found them the perfect candidate.
Lisbon Property in need of TLC
Looking at this property in Lisbon, WI, Brian and Kim fell in love with the location and trusted our vision to overhaul the interior. After negotiating a sale price of 287,500, we determined that they had plenty of room to make updates while staying in line with comparable properties in the area.
While the property was still going through the title and closing procedures, we went straight to work! What work could be done before they actually closed and took ownership of the property? For starters, we created a full 3D model of the existing floor plan that allowed us to completely reconfigure the entire layout. Additionally, we were able to provide them with a full renovation budget and project timeline. Again, all of this was completed BEFORE the property even closed, allowing us to start the renovation less than 24 hours after they officially bought their new house.
With the closing complete and the renovation in full swing, we were able to quickly transform this fixer-upper into their dream home. Check out the time-lapse video below to see some of the beginning phases of the project.
A few months later the project was complete! Brian and Kim were able to move in to a beautifully remodeled home. We think they were pretty happy with the result! Check out this Zillow review:
We wish Brian and Kim the best of luck in their newly renovated home! See more pictures of this remodel below!
